In my arts practice I explore beginnings and processes, my response to five miles from the sea led me to the explorers who were responsible for white settlement around Port Phillip Bay. I looked at Maribyrnong where I live and Melbourne.
Melbourne was founded in 1835 within a year there was 177 people and 26,500 sheep.
Melbourne city population January 1st 2009 was approximately 205,642.
